NEW FEATURE RELEASE

Follow drivers, find news, and see the karting rankings.

DriverDB free feature release #2 is here! We've added new ways to engage with your favorite drivers and championships. You can now follow drivers and championships and get their stats and schedules straight to your inbox. We're also aggregating news links for the top racing series, and will use them to generate factual summaries of what happened in each race. Finally, karting now has a landing page of its own, with ratings built for its classes.

Alongside those: we've also created lists, improved how you can send us results, and made many other UI fixes.

Follow your favorite drivers and championships

Create a free account to follow the drivers and championships you care about, and you'll always know when they're next on track. Turn on email updates under My Profile → Notifications.

Two emails, before and after the weekend

Upcoming Events sends every Thursday if a driver or championship you follow will be on track. The Weekend Roundup sends every Monday evening with the weekend results for your active drivers and championships.

Creating lists

Build lists of your favorite championships, races, drivers, and tracks. For example, an "up-and-coming drivers to follow" list, or a "tracks I've driven on" list.

Karting page and ratings

Karting now has a landing page of its own, with specialty ratings for standard classes including Micro, Mini, Senior and the rest. More landing pages for specific racing disciplines and regions are on the way.

News links and summaries

We're aggregating news links for championships and race events, and they will appear on each Championship or Event page once available. From these links we generate factual summaries of what happened in each race, and every championship with news coverage gets up-to-date summaries on its landing page.

Every championship with news coverage gets its own summary

Uploading results

The DriverDB community has been sending our small team a fantastic amount of results. We appreciate your patience, and we hope you'll keep sending anything you can find.

You can now pick the exact championship, year, and season the results belong to, and recommend a series if it doesn't exist or isn't covered yet. This will help us speed up the process of importing new results.

Driver page updates

The Driver page statistics have been clarified. You can now select between "All" and a specific series that a driver has competed in to have a more relevant comparison of their statistics. You can also view the next higher or lower ranked drivers by clicking on the up and down arrows at the bottom of each stat box.
